Combos beat separate bookings on friction, not always on math - one checkout, one voucher, transfers and timing handled. The bigger the day, the more the package earns its premium.
Who pays less - reduced and free rates
- Under 4: free at every level, but the child still needs a named free ticket at booking.
- Ages 4-11 and 12-24: reduced bands exist on most products - check the age bands on the booking page.
- Disabled visitors + one companion: reduced rate applies with a disability card in the visitor's name.
- Students and seniors: no dedicated discount - a 25th birthday ends the youth band, and there is no senior concession.
The trap worth knowing: the youth band stops at 24 and there is no student extension. A 25-year-old student pays the full adult rate.
What the partner premium buys
Partner tickets cost more than a bare walk-up ticket because they are not the same product: you are paying for guaranteed availability on dates the release calendar emptied, hosted entry past the ticket line, a live guide or audioguide, a cruise or dinner bundled in, and - on many products - a refundable cancellation window the monument does not offer.

How ticket prices move - and when to book
Partner pricing floats with demand: the same summit ticket costs more on a Saturday in July than on a Tuesday in February. Two rules of thumb hold up. First, the price only moves one direction as the date fills - early slots are the cheap slots, and waiting never makes a popular date cheaper. Second, the expensive dates are the ones the public calendar emptied first, so the premium you see is partly just scarcity surfacing.
The money math that actually matters: a $42 guided tour on a date you can still get beats a cheaper bare ticket on a date you cannot. Booking earlier does not just secure the slot - it usually secures the lower price band before the date fills. If your dates are fixed and the trip is soon, book now; if you are flexible, weekday mornings outside school holidays are where the cheap slots live.
One more thing worth doing before you pay: the refundable option at checkout. For a few dollars it buys a cancellation window until 23:59 the day before - cheap insurance on a booking made weeks ahead of the trip.
